I should have done and added the following on my original post:
root@hb5 ~ # find /usr -iname libstdc++.so
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/3.4.2/32/libstdc++.so
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/3.4.2/libstdc++.so
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/3.4.3/32/libstdc++.so
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/3.4.3/libstdc++.so
