I haven't weighed in on this before, but I have a similar situation from 2006 when I created an account for some stock options, then listed a buy and sell for the same day. (I assume I entered the buy first). Both were for 1,897 shares and things looked like they should balance but the software was never happy about it. I'm still using Moneydance 2008r4 - which I likely wasn't using in 2006. :-) -Ric Werme
