That window lists the security price history and allows import of prices.
This seems like a strange place to put the share balance, as the table is
not showing transactions. I would recommend instead the table of
transactions at the upper left corner of the Securities Detail tab. That
table has the set of transactions specific to the selected security.

There is both a Portfolio and an Investment Performance Report in MD 2010.
