I think that should satisfy most people. Though it seems a bit odd that the
only way to learn about this list is to KNOW someone or do a Google search.
I guess that makes this a sort of secret society. :-)

After signing up for notifications from the forum a couple of weeks ago, I
find that I still prefer the informal nature of this list. Here, I know that
a simple reply to a message will go to all subscribers, and I don't have to
waste time trying to figure out which category to use before posting a
comment. When I reply to a notification e-mail from the forum, I probably
get an official reply, but it appears that my message goes into the system
as a Private Issue, not available to other forum members.
