The OpenJDK may be missing some things like proprietary fonts, certain audio codecs and possibly printer/postscript drivers. It seems that Oracle goes through a separate level of QA for their own JDK that probably never gets done on the OpenJDK, or at least depends on patches trickling back to the OpenJDK codebase.
