I think it is possible that it is the version of the libzmq that is the problem. I am running Crunchbang Linux ‘Waldorf’ which is based on Debian Wheezy. I am thinking of running the ‘developer’ version of Crunchbang (based on Debian Sid) in a virtual box, just to see if that works. Incidentally the binary builds of Fontforge for OSX (built from the latest sources) do run the libzmq and collaboration features fine :-/ I’ll let you know if i find anything that works. -vernon On 2 Dec 2013, at 22:25, Martin Hosken <[email protected]> wrote: > Dear Vernon, > >> I’m not sure if you have been able to succesfully build and install fontforge with the collaboration features? have you? :) > > No. I consider it a major achievement just to get the basics building and running :) Maybe next time I'll attack zeromq. But atm my configure has it disabled due to lack of that library being installed. Any my rather old ubuntu doesn't have a recent enough libzmq packaged. > > Yours, > Martin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rapidly troubleshoot problems before they affect your business.
