triggering FontForge re-runs

Folks,
does FontForge have a reload triggering feature? This is, is there an
option to make FontForge automatically reload the input file in case
it has changed? Of course, this implies that FontForge is used as a
font inspector or TrueType instructions debugger, and there aren't
unsaved changes...
My use case is ttfautohint, which has such a triggering option: The
program will soon accept a text input file to fine-tune point
positions after hinting (using DELTAP bytecode instructions). If the
user saves this text file, ttfautohint automatically re-runs to create
a new version of the font, and if FontForge can then automatically
trigger a re-run too, the changes can be seen almost in real time.
