Postscript files with multiple embedded fonts: supported?

I was trying to find Postscript files to test yet another Coverity-inspired
tweak, and suddenly thought to wonder "why am I not being prompted about
*which* font to look at?

When I use a PDF that has more than one embedded font I get asked "Pick a
font, any font...".  For examples I use there are

http://www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/pdf_reference_1-7.pdf
      http://sourceware.org/gdb/current/onlinedocs/gdb.pdf.gz

But when I use a Postscript file that certainly appears to have multiple
fonts, such as
      https://sourceware.org/gdb/current/onlinedocs/refcard.ps.gz
FontForge immediately pops up with the characters defined in the first font
in the file.  Um, but the copyright information is from the *last* font in
the file...


Does anybody know/remember whether FontForge could detect the presence of
multiple fonts in a Postscript file, and let you choose which one to
display?  I don't see it in the code, but fontforge/psread.c and parsepfa.c
is pretty ... 'dense'.
