I consider some as essential -- unless we know of alternatives. xrdb xset mkfontdir xdm xdpyinfo xev xfontsel and xlsfonts xhost / xauth xlsclients (and maybe xlsatoms) xwininfo xmessage xvidtune xwd/xwud xkill oclock or xclock (I see is in xapps project already.) Where do you get your xset? xev? etc? > There is an xapps project established already, for those clients > we've done so far. Okay, I found http://xapps.freedesktop.org/. But no link to it from http://www.freedesktop.org/Software/Home . I may set myself up with a Twiki registration for this. Is it okay if I add it to that Software/Home page? Also, is there any download site for tar balls for these xapps? Also is there a fonts project for the XFree86 xc/fonts ? Jeremy C. Reed http://www.reedmedia.net/ p.s. I need to look closer on how FreeBSD ports accomplishes this.
