Re: what do you use for replacing all (or parts) of XFree86-clients?

You are more than welcome to autotool any of the clients.

The caveat is that we don't want anything we aren't planning
to actively support, so if you touch it, you are stuck with it
until/unless you identify someone else to be the tar baby....

There is an xapps project established already, for those clients
we've done so far.
