A while ago I had my KDE running with the new Xserver (Xvesa) but the desktop was unusably slow (but it worked) so I went back to the default install. I tried Xati in hope it would use the hardware (I'm running a Radeon 9500pro here) but right after starting Xati my machine froze. Is it already possible to run the Xserver hardware accelerated on a Radeon card and if so are there any additional software requirements? (I read something about DRI,DRM and Mesa on the ML) Regards, Dennis
