advmng questions & suggestions

1/ things i don't get about AdvMng (latest version)

i did that in the same file :

AdvMng -z -4 -S 16 pc_kngfu.mng
      573384      527723  92% pc_kngfu.mng
      573384      527723  92%

AdvMng -z -1 pc_kngfu.mng
      527723      413188  78% pc_kngfu.mng
      527723      413188  78%

i wanted to see the result of "-1" on an already compressed file, and
it compressed it even more !
so i don't get the point.

2/ i wanted to crop playchoice 10 files.
so i split MNG in frames, cropped frames, and merged frames again
(with AdvMng).
Yet I can't make some (yet half res) files smaller than original
files.
Any hint ?

3/ i'm looking for a correct mng player. XnView was the only (not
bloated and free) one to display them correctly like with AdvanceMenu.

(yes this mail means that mng collection is coming, at last)

suggestions :
about AdvanceMame  and AdvanceMenu :
I can't make them take the whole screen or be full screen on my laptop
:/ AdvanceMame windows is taking a limited part of the screen and none
of them wants to get fullscreen (even if "svgawin_stub fullscreen" is
set and driver installed.

Suggestions for AdvanceMenu :
-  a  key  to temporarily switch to a view when it's pressed.i usually
use  AdvanceMenu  with only full_mixed and list_normal, i would like a
key shortcut that shows full_mixed only when the key is down.
- a key that resets filters.

Suggestions for AdvanceMame :
about boot skip (I started filling info for this) :
- some games have an instant warm boot (namco games). it would be nice
to disable boot turbo when it's a warm boot for these games.
- i'd suggest a % counter that shows how much is done boot wise,
especially useful on very slow games (where emulated seconds take very
long).
