advancecd, sound only some games

 I tried advanceCD on a Dell optiplex, it has onboard sound
(ES1371,ES1373). According to the alsa device list it's supported and
I do get sound from the main menu and a few games. But most of the
games i've tried there is no sounds. I tried the CD on a newer PC and
just about all the games have sound. Is there something I need to
configure before I burn a CD to get sounds working on the Dell?
