Is it therefore a problem with AdvanceMAME itself? I notice that X can display interlace modes on my Radeon with no problems. Presumably it is therefore possible for AdvanceMAME to do the same with an appropriate fix. Is this ever likely to happen? It would be great to get interlace modes working with AdvanceMAME. For one thing it would save me having to keep XMAME on my hard drive to play Spy Hunter!
