Yup. Look at that last part on my email:

...
10. move your new kernel to boot from it:
"cp /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot/bzImage /boot/XXXNewKernelXXX"
...THEN.....
If you are using lilo (which I am) you need to edit your /etc/lilo.conf to
have a new section for /boot/XXXNewKernelXXX and set it as default. After
you have edited it, issue "lilo" to get it into the boot loader.

Of course XXXNewKernelXXX can be whatever name you give it. Don't forget to
type "lilo" on the command prompt...you should see something like this:

Wacksides:~# lilo
Added Linux
Added Kernel268
Added Kernel268-A *
Added Kernel267
Added Kernel267-2
Added WacksidesKernel
Added Kernel2421
Added Kernel264
Skipping /vmlinuz.old

..."Kernel268-A" being the default kernel...in your case (if you followed my
directions to the letter) it should be XXXNewKernelXXX

Good luck.
Todd
