It may depends on your  BIOS.
 
It's all good, Andrea.  I intended to use this hard drive as my  primary IDE 
drive.  My bios allows booting from a USB hard drive but once  makepart was 
made, it would run into errors when booting from that particular  USB drive.  
However, after transferring this drive into another PC as a  primary IDE drive, 
it booted right up.
 
Beautiful.
 
I intend to make an arcade cabinet containing a PC using this as its only  
bootable OS.  It'll be a lot like an honest-to-God arcade machine, because  upon 
turning it on, it will go right into the GUI game-chooser.
 
God, if I was like thirteen years old and had this, I think my brain would  
explode.  Andrea, will you marry me? :-)
