I think the edid code is breaking everything. So I suspect you'll need andrea's patches to get anything to work properly, AdvanceCD would be the place to start. As far as getting it to work with your system, it all really depends on what OS your running. If you want to use a custom kernel for either fedora or suse, good luck. If your using either debian, gentoo, LFS, slackware, or Mandrake, there shouldn't be that much to it.
