vanilla 2.6.10 didn't work so well with my PNY Geforce 4 TI 4600, so I never 
even bothered trying my TNT2 card.  I think the edid code is breaking 
everything.  So I suspect you'll need andrea's patches to get anything to 
work properly, AdvanceCD would be the place to start. 

As far as getting it to work with your system, it all really depends on what 
OS your running.  If you want to use a custom kernel for either fedora or 
suse, good luck.  If your using either debian, gentoo, LFS, slackware, or 
Mandrake, there shouldn't be that much to it.  Test you card using 
advancecd, it if works then download the advancecd source and the kernel 
source its using, then patch the kernel source with andrea's patches, 
compile and install.
