Hi,
I'm running the latest AdvanceMAME on a Gentoo linux setup with dual
trackballs connected. Both trackballs are working perfectly on all the games
I've tried except the trackball version of Combat School.
With combasct, the player one trackball works perfectly but the player
two inputs appear to be garbled. Moving right moves both up and right,
moving left moves down and left, etc. The movement is also stuttery, as if
something is triggering different directions at the same time.
I would report this on mametesters, but since official mame AFAIK
doesn't support dual trackballs anyway I don't think they'd respond.
I've searched the mailing list and had a quick google but nothing's come
up. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I think I've tried more or
less everything - I can only conclude either that the original game had the
player two trackball mounted in a *very* strange way or that the emulation
is somehow broken. Of course I could just have overlooked something very
simple!

Thanks for any help,

Jamie
