Why not do a recompile of AdvanceCD with support for more graphics drivers?

Why doesn't someone (not me, I know nothing of Linux) make a recompile of AdvanceCD with driver support for the most common, unsupported graphics cards then post the recompile somewhere where others can download it? Seems like graphics drivers problems are the number 1 issue with AdvanceCD.
