Hi all

I've just compiled advancemame 0.101 on my old linux
mamecab (2.4.22 or something) and it rocks as always.
Just a few warnings but ... who cares. Thanks again
Andrea.

As I had to pull out my wooden PC out of my cab, I'd
like also to upgrade my kernel to 2.6. I've installed
the latest mandriva 2006, kernel 2.6.12 afaik. I've
recompiled the kernel to remove vesafb and include
matroxfb. So far so good, no problem with the
compiling or the installation, I get the framebuffer
console but there is no way I can use it with
advancemame. Actually, when I launch it, I can see
that it changed the resolution. However, I still get
some kind of low res corrupted console instead of the
game. Has anyone of you managed to get advancemame +
matroxfb working on a 2.6 kernel ? Note that I use
advancemame 0.100 and not 0.101 as it doesn't compile
with my new gcc.

Additional question, I've also compile svgalib 1.9.23.
Thinks are almost perfect but sometimes, I get a
"still" picture in a perfectly vsynced scroll, just
like if it missed one frame every 10 seconds. Any
idea? My main priority goes to framebuffer however.

Thanks

Nicolas
