RE: Advmame Linux "Anti-Lock" Hardware?

My current config is

AMD 1700XP
256 Mb DDR
MSI K7T266PRO2A (with the infamous VIA KT266PRO2A
chipset (1)) with AC'97 onboard audio
Matrox G200 16Mb

Note (1) : FYI, bad implementation of PCI 2.x
standards.

I'm running Mandriva 2006, framebuffer @15 KHz and
svgalib 2.4.24. Mandriva 2006 is pretty buggy by the
way. Also make sure not to launch X with accelarated
graphics as there are some kind of conflict.

I'm running Advancemame 0.102. It is working ok,
however I'm currently struggling with modelines
generation with not much success so far : I  cannot
get the picture to fill the screen correctly, I get
black strips when using resolution such as 320x240
