Hi all,

I'm getting away from DOS for AdvanceMAME and found with Windows XP, driver level seems to make a
big difference with the ability to use SVGAWIN fully (using nvidia Geforce 2, 3, and 4 cards and
generate_yclock / display_vsync in the .rc) - the 28.83 Drivers seem to let me run native or
magnify resolutions, 40.xx seem to only let me run native with or without scanlines (magnify drops
back to frontend or windows), and the 80.xx forceware drivers seem to not cooperate with
AdvanceMAME at all unless falling back to SDL. I'm noticing that even with the 28.83 drivers,
vsync seems to not completely be there - even when the video osd shows it as on/enabled, there is
some tearing in some emulation (Bloodstorm attract mode would be an example). Does anyone use
WinXP with nvidia cards and have better results with vsync? Is there a specific nv driver version
I want to use, or is this as good as it gets with an "experimental" windows driver in XP?

Thanks,
-Jeb
