How active is this project still?

People,

I wonder how active this project is at the moment. I receive almost no mail 
from this mailinglist and there are seldom new posts in the forum.
I saw a thread where the author was repeatedly asked about when a new patch 
would come out and he wouldn't answer, not even after months. Is he still 
developing? Where can I follow the latest news?

Hope to get some reactions from other fans.
