I wanted to say thanks to Andrea for all his hard work over the years on Advmame. I've been a user since 2002, around version 5x and his dedication to the project has been truly appreciated. For now I suspect I'll keep my cab the way it is with Win98se / Advmame / Advmenu, but I was wondering what other people were going to do. I read about people using something called ZXmame for linux. My other idea was to compile Advmame 106 myself with the latest Mame code, although a drastic change to Mame would probably end this pretty quickly and I haven't had luck compiling Advmame on windows. I tried while using Cygwin, but didn't get it going. Your idea Grant about using an ArcadeVGA card is an interesting one. I had tried out an earlier version which had problems, but I hear the new versions are much better. Take care, Thomas --------------------------------- Access over 1 million songs - Yahoo!
