Hi all,

I've got an annoying problem and I can't find resolution in google
(even in this list's matches)

I've got an arcadevga in an arcade cabinet with a 15Khz monitor.
I tried xmame and sdlmame but these are not an option anymore because
I can't get a setup without flickering using those. So I turned to
advancemame.

I recompiled my kernel with this option :
CONFIG_FB_RADEON=y

I compiled advancemame with default options and framebuffer is activated:
CONF_LIB_FB='yes'

But when launching advv or advcfg in a console I get this error :

Unable to initialize the video driver. The errors are:
fb: Unsupported in X.
slang: Unsupported in X.
curses: Unsupported in X.

Ensure to use the 'device_video_output auto' option.
Try to run this program in console mode and not in X.

Is there any dependency package for fb ?

Is there a way to make advancemame working with the arcadevga ?
