Thanks Anderson,

I tried to disable vesa framebuffer, with all others fb driver built
in kernel (even if I only need radeonfb) but unfortunately it didn't
worked for me. I still have the fb: Unsupported in X.
I don't understand this message because I'm running this in console
and X isn't started. I tried with TERM=linux and stil had the same
problem. /dev/fb0 does exists and fbset returns me some information.

Is there anyone in this list running advancemame with an arcadevga ?
It should be possible as the arcadevga is in the supported linux cards
list !?

Anderson : do you have an arcadevga ? If yes, what kernel version do you use ?
