Hmmm. I haven't tried this with a TV. I know in the docs there's some issue
regarding TV out on cards. I wouldn't use Advancemame for a PC monitor,
that's for sure. I either use the regular mame or mame32/UI with stock
settings (either DirectDraw with hardware stretch or D3D, depending on which
era of mame it is) which gives a fairly clean display; or I run all games at
640x480 with hardware stretch (D3D after the video re-write actually
stretches automatically) if I want some hardware scanlines. They're very
fine but noticeable.

For a TV, since you have various options depending on what interface you'll
be using - S-video, component, scart....I wouldn't use composite or coaxial
- I suggest you search over at arcadecontrols.com - especially in the case
of scart, where you may actually want to use Advancemame.
