Mmmm...  prompt detection for arbitrary strings (i.e. " >"  prompts)
shouldn't do anything unless you explicitly enable it.  So I'm guessing
your issue was with something else, but I'm not sure.

See if you can figure out what the issue was and let me know and we can
see if it's possible to work around it, or if I should re-implement the
net_filter_hook.  (I don't think it'd be that hard to re-implement.)

I was thinking of removing the net filters because they were originally
for implementing things like MCCP and SSL on the network layer in a module
and I don't think we're going down that track anymore.
