Possible metal bug

I just watched a dreadnought vs. dreadnought battle over an 
uninhabited planet. Both ships were destroyed in the battle, but no 
metal fell to the planet. I think that battles over uninhabited 
planets where all ships are destroyed don't leave any metal on the 
planet.

Also, if you dismantle a fleet at an uninhabited planet, I assumed 
that the metal would fall to the planet, but the metal all just 
disappears.

Hmmmm...
