If there was even 1, they would claim the metal, then the delayed arrival colony ship would come in and finish them off and there would be no metal to mine. ________________________________ From: larry_fluke [mailto:[email protected]]=20 Sent: Monday, December 13, 2004 7:18 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [ho5palm] Re: Possible metal bug Ok, it happened to me again. I had a 5/5 dreadnought and a 2/2 colonizer in a fleet, with the=20 colonizer set for delayed arrival. The fleet went to an enemy planet=20 with 19 7/3 satelittes, a 2/2 colonizer, an 52,387 people. The battle=20 ended with all 21 ships destroyed and all people killed. But my=20 colonizer arrived late to find an uninhabited planet with 0 metal. I expected all the metal from the 21 destroyed ships to be sitting on=20 the planet. The people on the planet shouldn't have claimed the metal=20 because they all died in the battle. I still think that in any battle where all participants are=20 destroyed, all the metal ends up in never-never-land. As I mentioned=20 in my first post, I visited a planet right after a dreadnought vs.=20 dreadnought battle ended in a draw, and found 0 metal on the planet. Has anyone else seen this problem? Is it an issue with the Mac=20 version, or only with the 1.0.4 Palm version? Larry --- In [email protected], beobot <beobot@y...> wrote: > That is odd.
