I would like to build special tables in which the columns are People and the rows are Dates. Each cell would contain the details of events, ie Type, Description, Age and Place, where available. The purpose of such a table is to track the movements of seceral people through their lifetime to see how and when they interact to form a family, and in some case, to dismantle a family. I have done this manually for selected People, but it is tedious and prone to errors. Realistically, It should be automated, because it would be necessary to rebuild a table multiple times until it comes right. I suppose the output could be a Text Report, a file that could be imported into a spreadsheet (although I tend to eschew spreadsheets if I can), or both. So, my question is whether there is a way do accomplish this using Gramps? I'm not shy about programming and know a bit of python and C++. Any advice would be gratefully received.
