You should probably try out Christopher Horn's experimental LinkedView add-on. (Currently a new View rather than an add-on view mode of the People or Family views.) The Timeline panel he has created (when the active record is a "Person" object) may offer the functionality you want... although not in the exportable form you've mentioned. It is highly (possibly overwhelmingly) configurable. The add-on is in beta test status. Please only do experiments on trees that have been backed-up.
