I'm still using Gramps 3.4.9 here, and in that, I found a filter that selects all people that share an ancestor with a selected individual. And as far as I know, that should do the same as the two filters mentioned here. I then add a filter to include all spouses. Note that when I use the term in-laws, I mean that in the broadest of terms, i.e. all people that share an ancestor with my spouse, and their spouses. Does that match what the site says, or how you use the term in your culture? I would also use the term for all relatives of my brother in law, and their spouses.
