There are good filters within the People filters to handle many of the event parameters. Since you are ultimately looking to select people, the more you do under the People filters the better. The three filters I believe will give you what you seek. Filter 1: People with the person <event>, Event = "Birth", Place = "U.S.A." (or however you have the USA entered) "Return values that do not match the filter rules" checked This returns people not born in the U.S.A. Filter 2: People with the person <event>, Event = "Immigration" "Return values that do not match the filter rules" checked This returns people with no Immigration event Filter 3: People matching the <filter> Filter 1 People matching the <filter> Filter 2 Options: All rules must apply This returns the people that are not born in the U.S.A. _and_ with no Immigration event. ----- If you want a People filter to access an Event filter use: Persons with events matching the <event filter> -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... -- Gramps-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gramps-users https://gramps-project.org
