As long as you don't publish on the internet, your data are relatively safe. Medical information is highly protected as an individual privacy matter. Medical data can be recorded either as person attribute(s) if it can be categorised concisely or as person/family notes. In either case, mark the record (private or note) as private so that it is not exported in the various reports, notably when you generate web pages. > 2. If you generate web pages (e.g. for access by other members of your family at large), don't hesitate to flag "sensitive" information as private, for example events related to living persons, sometimes even their names can be "sensitive". You can still display and edit the information in Gramps but it doesn't leak outside. > I have a need to find out genetic info about my family. > > Thanx > Bryan > > -------------- next part -------------- > An HTML attachment was scrubbed... > -- Gramps-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gramps-users https://gramps-project.org
