Because you want to use screen captures, text decoration formatting, or hotlink content in your support requests; then I recommend that you subscribe & post to the official Gramps Discourse forum instead of the Maillist. The above query, and, seeking to make a response to it, and the difficulty encountered, led me to make this query, as the problem is recurrent. This may be a question for the developer(s) - I have attached a screenshot, and, will find whether it gets through to the list, if and when I receive my copy from the list (I do not remember whether people who post messages to the list, are sent from the list, a copy of our messages as distributed by the mailing list software - that functionality depends on the mailing list software, and, the determination of mailing list administrators). At the bottom of the screen, in the part under the tab with the label "Details", in the version of GRAMPS that I am using (v5.1.3-1 running on Ubuntu Linux v20.10), the text can not be copied (for being pasted) as a block (Mark -> Copy -> Paste). I do not know whether the functionality in this respect, that my version lacks, is present in the latest version, but, if not, could it be included in the next version?
