Since I was the one that refuted it, I can repeat my statement here. We 
have no code that supports syncing, but we do have a reference to a 
FamilySearch download tool on our Discourse forum:

I use RootsMagic Essentials to synchronize data with Ancestry and 
FamilySearch, and that can also find hints on FindMyPast and My Heritage.
