Re: Name change for a country

I actually have my places set up a little differently.

As an example I have *Massachusetts*'  name with the date "after 1 Mar
1781" (the date when the Articles of Confederation became active). Then
have the Alternate Names:
Province of Massachusetts Bay   from 14 May 1692 to 1 Mar 1781
Massachusetts Bay Colony from 1620 to 14 May 1692
Massachusetts (no dates as a default fallback for events with no dates)

Then in its Enclosed by tab:
U.S.A. after 1 Mar 1781
United Kingdom from 1 May 1707 to 4 Jul 1776
England from 1620 to 1 May 1707
