Was GRAMPS at Rootstech 2023

Hello.

I am wondering whether GRAMPS had a presence, either physical or 
virtual, at Rootstech 2023.

The international genealogy conference involved both physical and 
virtual participation and attendance, and, had exhibitors both 
physically and virtually present.

I have no idea as to what is involved in an institution being an 
exhibitor, and, what, if any, costs are involved.

Given that Rootstech is run by familysearch.org, which is part of the 
LDS church (so, Rootstech is held in Salt Lake City, Utah), I expect 
that an institution like the GRAMPS Project should not incur any fees, 
for being an exhibitor, if GRAMPS would be inclined to be an exhibitor.

I have just watched a video of a genealogist involving highlights of 
Rootstech 2023, and, the genealogist who is "between software", is 
evaluating Rootsmagic 9, as it runs natively on MacOS, without needing a 
Windows emulator (as she put is, "without having to resort to the dark 
side of the chip").

 From the GRAMPS web site, GRAMPS, from my understanding, runs natively 
on each of MS Windows and MacOS, in addition to Linux (is there any 
intent to port it also, to BSD, to run on any of the desktop BSD's, like 
MidnightBSD ?).

So, depending on what would be involved, to me, for GRAMPS to be at 
least a virtual, if not a physical (depending on the proximity of 
developers) exhibitor, at such annual genealogical conferences, to 
promote GRAMPS, would be appropriate, and, a means of increasing 
awareness of GRAMPS, as a multi-platform genealogy application (I do not 
know of any other genealogy platform, that runs natively, on each of the 
three operating systems; Linux, MS Windows, and MacOS - not many 
applications run natively, on all three).

So, was GRAMPS at Rootstech 2023?

Rootstech 2024, is due to start on 29 February 2024, and, run for a few 
days, if the GRAMPS Project people are interested in investigating the 
prospect of being involved.
