Re: Brothers Keeper

 There is a superficial discussion about trying to import a Brother's Keeper backup file on a Mac. (Which has 2 problems: Brother's Keeper doesn't have a Mac version; importing from BK needs to be done with GEDCOM, not backup files.) The thread suggests an approach.


Since 2020, the Discourse-based forum has become the preferred community-based Gramps support over the maillist. (Although the maillist archives have more archived answers.)

If Brothers Keeper can export the data in GEDCOM file format, then 
GRAMPS can import the GEDCOM files.

It is the standard way of transferring data from one genealogy 
application to another, and, which, I believe, the GEDCOM standard was 
established.
