Juan,

It actually made it was into GMT5 surface but I remember that there was 
one issue to be solved (not sure exactly what). If you print the on-line 
help you'll notice this

  [-D<breakline>]
....
-D Use xyz data (can be multiseg) in the <breakline> file as a 'soft 
breakline'.

please give it a try and see how it works for you.
