Please some one write blog on gmt 5 installation

I have downloaded all the files shown in this page

Really didn't understand please someone help

How to install ? I don't want mixup with system library I want to install
here

/home/peter/software/gmt/gmt5

I have these files in home directory

gmt-5.1.0-src.tar.gz
gshhg-gmt-nc4-2.2.4.tar.gz
dcw-gmt-1.1.0.tar.gz

netcdf_home=/home/peter/software/netcdf/netcdf_4_3
hdf_home=/home/peter/software/hdf/hdf5
cmake_home=/home/peter/software/cmake/bin



Please someone kindly help me, I am not interested to use yum as it
installs old version
