Clipping to mask NaN values

Hi,

I've a .grd file with NaN values in it. I don't want the NaN values to be plotted, using the -Q option works fine on .ps file but when I import it on Illustrator the colormap is altered.
I know that, sometimes, Illustrator behaves weirdly when importing psfile (Paul already posted a comment on that) so I tried to find a workaround. 
So what I want to do is using psclip to mask Nan Values. For that, I need to get the xy_path of the edge of my surface (see below) so I can input it into psclip.
Any idea on how to do that?
