Re: how to specify solid style in -W option?

I think I found a reason. I have statement before

gmtset MAP_DEFAULT_PEN 0.2p,255/0/0,4_8:2p

which makes dashed line, and using -W without a style 

still keeps old dashed style.

Shouldn't -W completely define a pen?

I shall get rid of  MAP_DEFAULT_PEN and use
-W option for all calls.

I am sure "solid" is taken as some misformed dashed line command.  The syntax is

-W[width[c|i|p]],[color],[style[c|i|p|]]

so if you want solid you simply specify no style, i.e.

-Wthin,red
