I'm experiencing something similar:

When I plot a global dataset on a global (LON+/-180=B0) map, everything =
is fine. When I plot a regional map of the same dataset, strange =
horizontal lines appear.=20

information pixelated). I have no clue what causes the three horizontal =
lines running through the plot.The two vertical lines are my fault. =
Please ignore.=20
