mirrored drives on FreeBSD

I recently started using geom to mirror my system disk on a FreeBSD
5.5 box, and noticed that gkrellm doesn't offer me a chance to meter
the mirrored device.

I suspect that this is because the disk-like device is in a
subdirectory of /dev/ instead of /dev/ directly, so this should be an
easy fix.

Before starting on this, I'd like to check that that is the case, and
this isn't a more fundamental problem, like FreeBSD not collecting the
necessary stats for the mirror devices. I'd also like to find out if
someone already has a fix for this, to safe me the time of doing it.

	Thanks,
	<mike
