Most stats (memory, disk, cpu, etc) are read from the OS /proc or /sys filesystem (assuming Linux) and that data would need to be generated per virtual environment. If your memory data is of the actual hardware, it seems the data is just passed through and I would then expect that for all the /sys and /proc data you get.
