i don't know if it makes a difference as i didnt see any dates for today in the server code, but the ntp servers are remotely managed and monitored so it goes through gkrellmd. the only client is on my workstation. btw thank you for this consideration! will make my life much easier since now I have to manually compile stats by using the scripts supplied with ntpd.
