hmm. maybe..  i have had it monitoring since 4pm my time it is now 11:30pm and 
no data on the monitors. i have 2 ntp labels in the chart, 1 for current 
connections and one to maintain number of connections history for 24 hrs.. 

ntp utilities report there have been 834 time requests since 4pm. the script i 
have to run is a bit of a problem getting these stats..
