Mandriva Linux 2008.1, KDE 3.5.9 I'm seeing frequent crashes of gkrellm 2.3.1. I have compiled and installed this version from source as an update from the gkrellm version that came with the original Mandriva 2008.1 repositories. I was seeing exactly the same problems with that version as well. Is there anything I can do about this? Please advise. The error produced reads: The program 'gkrellm' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadPixmap (invalid Pixmap parameter)'. (Details: serial 47537169 error_code 4 request_code 56 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) (gkrellm:19918): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_source_remove: assertion `tag > 0' failed Thanks. -- Mark E.
